Which sack was better:

2007: Gholston on Chad Henne
2012: Boren on Devin Gardner

I kind of like Gholston's better, but Boren basically ran over Gardner and flattened him.

To properly answer this question we need to see the video evidence side by side

BTN's "The Journey" was at Saturday's game.

I wonder if the coaching staff would allow them in the locker room following the game. I doubt it.

Another feature on John Simon would be fitting, since he missed his Senior Day, but I doubt they did that (since he was already featured).

Why do you doubt it? After the game would be perfect - especially with the coaches talking to the players - which is what USUALLY occurs.

So what, exactly, do you think they did?

And I'd seriously doubt they wouldn't mention a huge issue like Simon missing the game - it could have had a very large impact.

Give Brady a break. He started across the field and lost his breath. He had to be rushed to the locker room for some oxygen.

...And a ham sandwich

:osu:

I thought that Hoke was just being considerate by not shaking hands; he didn't want to get mustard, mayo, ketchup, and chicken grease all over Urban.

If I had to guess:

1) Mike Mauti feature (they were at that game too).
2) Highlights of both Ohio State and Penn State's game.
3) Nebraska highlights after they won the Legends against Iowa.

That should be 22 minutes.

They will likely lose their only good OL, Lewan, to the draft and will have to replace 3 other spots, all primarily with redshirt or true freshmen.

Just got home from Columbus and had a chance to watch the telecast. Not sure if this was mentioned in the game thread, but Lewan was really struggling out there. Got beat badly by Washington on the first Gardner fumble. Whiffed on Shazier on the Denard 4th down run. Whiffed on Bennett on the second Gardner fumble. Also noticed that scUM runs the ball to the right 80-90% of the time behind Schofield and Omameh. That doesn't say much about Lewan as those two were just getting abused out there.

Gholston's more impressive visually because he pretty much sent Henne into the fetal position while barely laying a hand on him and it was an exclamation point on a physically dominant win. But...Boren's was more crucial to the game. That was huge for momentum.

Gholston was an overlooked native son that came back to haunt them, like countless others in the rivalry (usually in winged helmets).

Boren was a diehard "weep at the possibility of Justin verballing to OSU" Wolverine who only ended up at OSU because of the worst coaching hire in Michigan history.

I like the symbolism of Boren's better :)
