Ohio State files new allegations against fired band director Jon Waters

In its response to a lawsuit filed by Jonathan Waters, Ohio State University today revealed new details about problems in the marching band under its former director’s watch.
After Waters was fired, OSU officials discovered a third sexual assault in the band while he was in charge, and they found several raunchy student-produced videos that sometimes included students who were partially nude. Waters sometimes appeared in cameos, according to OSU.
The new court documents mark Ohio State’s first legal rebuttal since Waters sued the school last month saying he was fired illegally. Lawyers for the university attempt to counter each of Waters’ claims and in a second filing they ask a judge to dismiss the federal lawsuit immediately.

I've been hearing from a fellow tailgater that there was other dirty laundry against Waters that would come out should he choose to pursue the lawsuit. Looks like that information might be spot on.

The other "dirty laundry" appears to be same as the other stuff... all shenanigans that the student body got up to on their own and still no incident of documented sexual harassment.
The only bit that I find troubling is the part about a sexual assault in 2012 that potentially went unreported. That deserves some attention; the rest is just more nothing.
As BayBuck pointed out, at-will employment pretty much kills the case even though everything points to him being thrown under the bus.

Going by the article, it's mostly "semi nude" males and a female's back w/o a top on.

1969, Lai Khe Base Camp, South Vietnam, 1st Infantry Division, the Chief of Staff, Colonel Archie Hyle, ordered the removal of all Playboy centerfolds, short-timer calendars, etc., etc., removed from the tents, then he had the Command Sergeant Major order the First Sergeants to enforce the rule. PC way before his time.

Too soon old, too late smart
On a side note, the Meatchicken game had their band doing their thing pregame, and there were several UM band members that were marching, but not playing. Flute below their lip, cheeks not puffed, etc. Not a good thing on national television. Now THAT should get a band director canned, marching many, but only a few playing. TBDBITL plays ALL of their instruments all the time. Big band, big sound. Go Bucks. PS, for the record, I believe that Waters is getting jobbed, but there is too much pride (ego?) on tOSU side for them to recant their decision, and reinstate. And if Waters is never reinstated, he at least made a great contribution and took TBDBITL to the next level. Go Bucks!

Something I realized last night at the game. With the departure of Waters, Buckeye Swag seems to have departed as well. I don't recall hearing it once this season and that's a shame.
