Sully needs to avoid foul trouble while guarding the improved Meyers Leonard.

Illinois plays 4 guards and Leonard. Deshaun Thomas will have a huge matchup advantage against Bertrand. We/he need to exploit it.

and I think Craft will have a field day with their PG but first we have to take care of Iowa out in the cornfields.

I've got a feeling this one is going to get ugly for the home team on Tuesday. Maniscalco hasn't played lately due to injury (and even when he's played, he hasn't put up big numbers against the better teams), Richardson can't play well with his current injury (cast on shooting hand), and this is an Illinois team that couldn't afford any injuries to guys who put the ball in the basket if they expected to compete with OSU. Might be a good time for the Illini faithful to come to the arena with pitchforks and torches in tow to chase Weber out of town.

To the previous couple of posters who feel we will win big. Don't forget one important factor. No one, and I mean no one, plays to the level of their competition more than the Illini.

 I guess I would like to know which game are you talking about. They lost to Missouri by 4 and got waxed at Purdue by 15 and don't forget their home loss to UNLV by 16. However, they did play a strong Northwestern team and pulled out a 1 point victory. That was when all their players were healthy. They are now playing with a short bench.

I never am overconfident about any BIG road game, especially against decent competition. Being the king of the mountain in recent years with Thad at the helm means that we usually get the opponents best shot. Hope the Bucks play well, and will be satisfied with a victory.

Hopefully the Bucks come out, stay out of foul trouble and come away with a W.

Unfortunately won't get to see much of it. Headed to the girlfriend's place and she's informed me Dance Moms is the show of choice tonight. Plus she hates basketball.

Definitely not referring to any one game. I was speaking culturally under Weber. Illinois doesn't know how to play as a favorite, but they will always give a surprising effort as an underdog, especially at home. Think about how bad they really are this year statistically speaking. Based on national rankings, they are 181st in PPG, 196th in RPG, 163rd in APG, and 114th in FG%. Yet somehow, they are 14-3 overall. Their three losses are to very respectable teams, and yes, many of their wins are squeakers that should be blowouts on paper. It's who they are. Do I think we will win tonight? Of course I do. I just don't think it will be a blowout. I hope I'm wrong. :)
