You said it. That article about the 6 star recruit out of Alaska was top notch. That fact that his uncle played on the OSU badminton team has to help us....Oh, I have said too much already.

Rivals (Free): Regional analysts break down their regions more impressive prospects from what they have seen in person this season. Speaks very highly of Mark Andrews, Skai Moore, Quin Blanding, Jalin Marshall, and Mikel Horton. Says Skai Moore is looking like he will rise in the rankings (I'm guessing a 4 star with the year he is having).

Rivals (free)- Recap of our commits and targets performances last week. Of note:

- Tavion Jacobs put up 191 yards and a TD on only 5 passes.

-`Jalin Marshall put up over 200 yards total (135 on the ground) and 2 TD's.

- Zeke Elliott dominated again with 211 yards and a TD on the ground, plus a 92 yard kic return for a TD (seriously, quit kicking to the guy opposing teams).

- Tracy Sprinkle just blew up again with 12 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 QB hurries, and a tipped pass.

- Vonn Bell had a huge game with over 130 yards of total offense and had 9 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and an interception.

Truly shocked that Luginbil lacks a clue to what we need.
So what was your problem with him giving us a B+? He said he'd like to see us add more o-lineman. I'd agree. He didn't even mention linebacker which is another need that we haven't been able to address in this class as of yet.

B+ is fine, don't see how offense is a B and D an A though and view LB or another DB as our biggest needs with OL and WR after that.

If signing day was today which seems to be the premise of the video, I'd be a whole lot more satisfied with what we have on offense than defense. JMO. Offense is close to being set up with an embarrassment of riches while some positions on defense are scrambling to get anyone that can play.

For you guys who follow football recruiting much closer than I do, I was wondering how much you thought we would be hurt by having no bowl practices this year. I believe that a lot of guys used to come to the bowl practices after their season had finished and I was wondering how that affected some guys who might not have committed as of yet.

Keep in mind the 6:1 ratio.

1 month recruiting for this staff = 6 months for other staffs.

I like our chances for closing strong for 2013 and getting 2014 off to a good start. We are missing out on 15 or so practices for this extra time and I don't see the staff wasting it.

Think it hurts some of the pups, notably the LBs who don't have any real experience. Would guess it will be Marotti's team in December and they get an early start on offseason conditioning, hoping Adolphus/Schutt get in better shape and Spence puts on 10-15 of muscle. They are going to be key to our defensive success next year.
