Desoto seems to always have some speedy players. I believe when Dontre was there, he had a QB that was 5'6 and even more dangerous in space than him. Great to see OsU still going after Desoto kids

Reminds me of Gibson in that he could probably project better at another position but you have to recruit him as a QB if you want to get him.

'It's not like I crossed them out': Why Ohio State is still alive for '16 DeSoto QB Tristen Wallace
Wallace said that things changed a little when Ohio State lost offensive coordinator Tom Herman to Houston, but he made those comments before he realized the Buckeyes hired former Nebraska assistant Tim Beck as his replacement.

"Ohhh," Wallace said with a smile when he was told.
"I love Ohio State," Wallace said. "What they are doing with those three quarterbacks that they have and that played this year was fantastic. It kind of reminded me of how we did things here when I went down. It's a good feeling."

Four-star Tristen Wallace decommits from Tech
The four-star recruit decided to reopen his recruitment Thursday night, saying he wants to play quarterback in college. His commitment to the Red Raiders on Jan. 4 was as an athlete who'd likely play receiver.

Despite saying he was "100 percent" committed to Tech, Wallace didn't seem secure in his commitment at the time. He planned to make visits to other schools and told the Northeast Ohio Media Group that he was interested in Ohio State, where he has a former teammate playing.

Rivals $ - Wallace high on OSU

3/12

By Joseph....Hearing the most from Ohio State, Oregon State, Texas, TCU & SMU. Being recruited by Coach Beck and has a great relationship with him. Also has a great relationship with Dontre Wilson. Plans on making a decision soon.
