UH exploring additional football game for 2012

Penn State would absolutely apefuck Hawaii....UH sucks terribly this year:

USC .......... L 49-10
Lamar (FCS) .. W 54-2
Nevada ....... L 69-24
BYU .......... L 47-0
SDSU ......... L 52-14
New Mexico ... L 35-23

Against FBS teams, they're 0-5, losing by an average score of 50-14.

Yea, but I'd rather Hawaii get ape[censored] by Ohio State than by Pedo State. I hate how the NCAA sanctions penalize players that had no involvement. The main offendors are long gone... How can you deny OSU a postseason game especially if they go undefeated. A 13th "regular season" game at this point would at least be a small consolation prize for an awesome season (so far)!

Because OSU violated NCAA rules. I don't want to hear any "main offendors are long gone" bullshit...it's the program that's being punished, not just individual violators. USC was hit by the same prohibition, so we can't bitch about it. If a program doesn't want to be sanctioned then it shouldn't violate rules.

If a program doesn't want to be sanctioned then it shouldn't allow itself to play in a useless Gator Bowl while all the offenders are still on the team, minus TP.

Have heard rumors it could be Temple, since they only have 11 games on their schedule. No idea if it's legit or not, but thought I'd share anyway.

A team has contacted the Warriors about the possibility of an extra game at Aloha Stadium

A football team from the East has contacted Hawaii coach Norm Chow about the possibility of playing a game against the Warriors at Aloha Stadium in December.
There are numerous hurdles to overcome before the proposal could become a reality. For instance, UH's season tickets and pay-per-view packages already have been set and sold. There also are several layers of administrative approval the Warriors would need to receive.
But the prospect is intriguing, although not unprecedented.
After UHdefeated Brigham Young in the regular-season finale in 2001, school officials sought to schedule an add-on game that year. That proposal failed, although it did pave the way for the creation of the Hawaii Bowl the following year.
Under terms of the NCAA's so-called "Hawaii exemption," the Warriors are allowed to play up to 13 regular-season football games each year. What's more, a visiting team is allowed to exceed the NCAA's 12-game limit for the regular season.
The Warriors are scheduled to play only 12 regular-season games this year.

I don't suppose it is you guys.. cause you guys really deserve a 13th game!
Interesting concept, but we finished with a perfect season, that is something to remember. We won our division and are the REAL Big 10 champs.
