I posted this somewhere, but Colorado State hired Alabama's then OC, Jim McElwain, as head coach a year ago. Colorado State will also play a recently scheduled $$ game in Tucaloosa next year, FWIW.

me personally i would go to osu and dominate in the BIG.. certainly an easier road then trying to go through the SEC

The guy won 2 national championships in the SEC in 3 years at Florida, yet left said school for an easier path to said game?

Is it really so difficult for you to understand that he loves tOSU? He is from Ohio and was a GA under Earle Bruce. Plus, his wife is an tOSU grad. Not to mention, he left UF for health reasons, but I suppose haterz will always question this.

He didn't "leave" for tOSU first of all..

Second of all.. it is an easier path considering M*ch*g*n is supposed to be the other "power" - thanks for holding up your end of the bargain..

Because he had a picture of Woody Hayes in his room as a little kid?

Urban's primary objective isn't to be "like the SEC" or to "beat bama". It is to make Ohio State the best damn program in the land. Kind of tough to do that at Florida.

In order to achieve that primary objective, he has secondary objectives tied in with them - beating bama, which necessitates being "like the SEC" to a degree.

That's part of the narrative. The other is that he ran from Saban.

We also would've accepted "Can't win without Tebow" (for the narrative, not the accuracy)

Must not have read too far into how Urban feels about the recruiting tactics in the SEC, but it's alright... I wouldn't want to read too much into how many steak hoagies Brady Hoke piled into his mouth this afternoon, so to each his own.
