Mark Sanchez (Philadelphia Eagles)

Friends of my family. Husband 41; wife 26. Started dating before she was 16 (he was then 30). Millionaires. Happy, happy couple, well-adjusted and socially very well accepted. Their early relationship could be a carbon copy of Sanchez and this girl.

Hard for me to see a problem here. I see lots of envy from the peanut gallery, very little substance of any misdoings. Give it a rest.

Why?

No envy here....more like a perfect opportunity to ridicule an average-at-best QB who is more or less famous for being a Mexican American playing QB for USC and now the Jets.

I don't think I've ever seen any big deal made about his Hispanic heritage, other than the obvious inference from his name. As for his being "average at best," he's average or above as an NFL QB, which is pretty good stuff.

I recall when the Buckeyes were recruiting him, and our fan base would have been overjoyed to have him in Columbus. I would have. :)

That took me all of 10 seconds to find. And in 2008 that's all eSPIN could reference about him....

I'm happy with the way things worked out honestly....

Good for them, but I'd imagine if your 15-year old daughter brought home a 30-year old you'd be less than impressed.

I'm 2 1/2 years removed from high school. It's creepy. He's not Roman Polanski, but it's creepy.

If I'm chasing pussy too young to go on a cig run for me when I'm 24, fucking shoot me.

This cannot be emphasized enough. Sometimes it works out but it's to be approached with caution if your a parent. Sorry if I'm a little skeptical of a wealthy pro athlete's intentions toward a 17 year old girl.

And WTF was wrong with him?

Sorry, no grown "man" needs to be dating a girl that can't even walk into a rated 'R' movie by herself.

Now, do I have an issue when she's 26? Nope - far more mature, advanced & adult. But would I let my 16 year old daughter within 10 ft of someone twice her age? Fuck no.
