1. Underestimated the speed of the Buckeye defense.

2. Game should have been over in regulation, missed holding call and catch in bounds, kept the Buckeyes from retaining possession and running out the clock.

3. Underestimated the heart of that class of seniors.

4. You'd think that someone who came back from a catastrophic injury to be an All Pro level back would develop some class regarding the game he wasn't ready to play.

now that I think about it, you guys did stick a dagger in the hearts of the Hurricanes. After that game they've pretty much sucked every year since and the program has all but disintegrated. I'd like to give a big THANK YOU to you guys for that, as I cannot stand that program or their thug players at all.

Anyway, I thought the call was kind of BS but the game wasn't over yet. Miami flat out lost the game on the next play and in the next overtime. They have nobody to blame but themselves. Bad calls are made all the time, and you've got to play through them. If Miami has anything to bitch about they need to bitch about not showing up in the second over-time. They lost, end of discussion. I think those former Miami players like Lil' Willie have gone even past Joe Paterno levels with their bitching and whining about being screwed out of victory by the refs.

'Deep down inside' Willis should just shut up and be glad he's still got a football career after the hit Will Allen put on him.

I hope this bitter pill sticks in his throat well into old age. He's just another woulda-coulda-shoulda little wuss from 'the U'. Legends in their own minds.

Now that they have to play in a semi-competitive conference, the undefeated season scam they ran for so many years is toast. The U now stands for 'Un-masked'.

Gross. I don't want to see that picture ever again. McGahee may be a sissy bitch, but nobody deserves that kind of injury on the football field.

Agreed...that is a nasty picture...we should use slow motion video instead

Someone should send Willis a copy of the recent article in "Referee" magazine naming the "bad" PI call one of the 18 greatest calls (all sports) of all time . . .

NASO Press Releases

"In addition to being verifiably correct, the calls were selected based on prominence, difficulty, the stage on which they were made and their impact. . . ."

Sorry...Willis never came back to become an all pro anything... trust me. I hated him at the U and tried to like him in Buffalo...he never panned out...never regained the burst he had in college, couldn't handle pro blocking assignments and can't catch.....

Couple that with a bad attitude and the uncanny ability to dance around and never hit a hole and he was mediocre at best.
