Which team wins the Fall Classic, and in how many games?
Rangers in 6
Cards in 6 or 7
Wilson seems shaky to start. Bet it's just nerves.
I'd sure hate to see that prick LaRussa win another series but I think Carpenter is going to be the difference.
Didn't see another thread.
I thought game one was an entertaining game. But what I really liked were the infrared cameras. When they first showed them with Pujols and the ball hitting his foot, I thought it was a great view. It gives you a new perspective and Old Man Carver couldn't get over it, "weird" he called it. Sorry, Tim, that's bad ass. Technology is what people want in baseball, it can enhance the game, especially for the viewer, which is what baseball needs right now. then in the 9th, you could see clearly where the very, very tip of Beltran's shoe was nicked by the ball. I'm glad the call was made as it was, but again, I thought it was an awesome, new perspective for baseball.
Rangers become the first team since the 2001 Diamondbacks to win a WS game when trailing after 8 innings. A pair in the 9th wins game two, 2-1.
Tied 1-1 going to Texas.
That was shown while Marc Rzepczynski (40pts) was pitching tonight..
wow what a show Pujols put on tonight. 3 hrs and the first one was absolutely crushed.
Dear John Mozeliak,
Please do what it takes to bring back Albert Pujols!
I feel lucky to have witnessed Game 3 of the 2011 World Series live. Albert Pujols is the Babe Ruth/Ted Williams/Reggie Jackson/Whoever of my generation. Just amazing to watch this guy play ball.
That Pujols guy is pretty good. I'm not sure I'd let him swing the bat again the rest of the series if I'm Ron Washington.
Albert Pujols isn't a real human being.....
Shout out to my high school classmate Derek Holland. Putting on a show tonight.
