We'll have a much better explanation and tutorial here at some point in the future. Maybe you're looking at this page, looking at the links, thinking "and?" You're looking at a blank canvas. It's on you, us, all of us, to start filling it in. What does "filling it in" mean? Witness some early pages constructed by methomps. Consider Ted Ginn, Jr.'s page on Wikipedia.com, That's just a start. If you're not familiar with wikis, the basic concept is that it's an information resource in and with which you play a direct role. Let's say you want to know about Pepe Pearson. Search for his name over there on the left. If there's a page, it will take you there, and if there's information it's lacking -- add it! No page? Start it. Don't worry about it, just dig in and do it. Check out the guide linked above if you want a starting point. You won't break anything, everything is revertible, and if you miss something worth having on that page, someone else will add it. Wikis are shared community pages. BuckeyePlanet is about YOU developing the content. So develop. It will be hard for people unfamiliar with Wikipedia and wikis to visualize what this can and will be in the very early going, but it will come into focus relatively quickly, and once it does, I think the potential and direction will excite you.
