Michael Gerard Jenkins (born June 18th, 1982 in Tampa, Florida) is a wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. Jenkins played college football at The Ohio State University, and is the University's all-time leading receiver in pass reception yards with 2,989 yards, breaking the record set by David Boston from 1996-1998. Jenkins made possibly his best catch of his career, and maybe even the greatest catch in Buckeye history, when he caught a 37 yard touchdown pass from Craig Krenzel with just under two minutes to play in the Buckeyes' 2002 matchup against Purdue. The Buckeyes prevailed in that game 10-6, and launched themselves to their first national championship in 34 years.
