Oh!! Silly string!

I think Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks is the number one must-have in a home. Simple basic tips on meats, soups, breads and baking is included. Not to mention is has the widest variety of collections of recipes for standard dishes.

This may be because I'm really drunk right now, but I laughed pretty hard at this story. The nerd in me liked this: I am also curious about what "silly spray" is. Excellent story.

Good point on the consulting. I guess I just didn't see how this professor would be making out from his research. It isn't like he wrote a program. If someone can follow his work, it is possible for a program to be made without him gaining a single penny, right?

"Hofmann said working day and night on a math problem requires a great deal of faith..." ...and a great deal of money! Good god. That university was paying him for 3 years to solve one problem. Will their only return be name recognition? What kind of profit comes from math problem solutions...

Those russian tea cakes are definitely my favorite. I don't really have any other because I don't eat too many sweets over the holidays. I'm more into the meats and side dishes.

Aw. I thought Pootie Tang was hilarious. I remember laughing so hard in the first 5 minutes of it. My least favorite movie is probably "It's Pat." Funny for SNL, but an awful movie.

I liked this one, too. I also read it while I was annoyed at work, and it brightened my day if that makes you feel better about the story.
