Lol, wasn't he Butch Davis' right hand man in Cleveland? If I remember correctly he stirred up a lot of controversy there. I'm not sure I would take any advice from this man.
I think on a neutral field it would be a pick-em. But for the sake of argument...Texas coughed up a ton of turnovers on our field that night. I'm guessing they wouldn't have so many the next time around. I see that evening out the advantage OSU would gain with the improved offense.
I completely agree. It's hard for me to expect a cakewalk in this one. I thought OSU played well against Michigan and it still took 2 awesome game on the line drives to win. Yes, key fumbles made it closer than it probably should have been but that has been the rule with this team rather than...
My 2 cents.
-The common opponets(MSU, scUM) were close games for both teams. So odds are this one will be too. I don't think it will be nail biting close but ido expect the result to be in doubt until 4th quarter.
-I think ND has the perfect offense to give the OSU D trouble but OSU D will...
I didn't even think Poz was the best defensive player on his team. I thought Tamba Hali was. It seemed like he was in the backfield every big down PSU had this year.
I picked Penn St. because I'm not sure we are better than Texas, (a 10 game series would be pretty even in my mind) but I know we are better than PSU. That game really pissed me off watching it.
I saw this quote in USA today this weekend. Pretty funny.

Maybe Phil should do a sequal to the book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People"
I won't say this is one of the best defenses ever, but they continue to be the rock for this team. They bounced back and played a good 2nd half.
When I look at our matchups for the next opponent I can basically count on our defense to keep us in the game even if they have a bad day against...
I'm with some other posters on this. I just can't believe it. This is Tressel's decision. It will have to come from him as unlikely as it may be. Who are these people that have enough clout to force him into the discussion mid-season? Maybe I believe some big contributors could influence him in...
Michael Jenkins is starting in the NFL. say what you want about Craig, but he is also in the NFL. We have quite a few lineman from these teams in the NFL as well. A quality, dependable TE. No strengths is a bit harsh an asessment imo. Say what you will but we did have some talent to work with...
Not sure if you missed my point or not. I am not questioning the talent we have or how much talent Sutton has. I'm actually sort of making the case the backs we do have may be better but we'd never know it. I'm not pining for Sutton and saying he would be cure all for this offense. I just think...
I keep coming back to the same thought after this game.
A hypothetical question:
If OSU had indeed recruited and landed Tyrell Sutton on this team, would anyone else in the B10 know his name by now after 5 games?
I think the answer is no, especially because of the type of back he is. And...
No. I meant our defense will dominate their O either way so it doesn't really matter what th weather is like. Our O vs their D is the battle in doubt and bad weather would give them slightly more favorable matchup. So, overall I would think bad weather helps PSU the most.
