I get the impression that OSU has set the bar for Nick and he / his family are just doing their due diligence to make sure its the right choice for him. We know this is how JT operates, encouraging recruits to make sure they truly want to be Buckeyes for their collegiate career.

so what are you hearing about an offer from OSU? with such a small [apparent] class, it seems like we are slow/deliberate on offers, especially OOS.

Martin Sr also is originally from Dayton and went to Bowling Green. He puts on a free Youth football camp every year in Dayton. I am sure his son is very familiar with Ohio State and the area. Good size and good coaching for both positions from his dad.
