I believe they did get four timeouts in the second half. At the 18 yard line with about 11 minutes left, we called timeout on a 4th and 1. BTN came late out of the break as they often do, and showed the teams coming back from the line to the sidelines as if they had already lined up. The BTN...
Don't try to use logic to figure out what Saunders says. It will just short circuit your brain at best. At worst, you'll actually understand his thinking, which will mean you are REALLY screwed up.
I'll take a win by the Buckeyes any way - I really don't care how it looks.
Let's remember that 2002 team that had a bunch of ugly wins and a national championship. I'd take that again this year no problem.
I have a lot less of a problem with the offense in the second half, but except for right at the end of the first half, the offense did nothing but help[ Wiscy with field position.
The good news is that the D really saved us.
I'm optimistic that this O is going to start to click shortly. Maybe...
LSU is pretty much the last shot for an FLA loss before the SEC championship. LSU WILL get a loss along the way somewhere. I'd like to see all the DEC teams take a loss in the regular season. I can't stand any of them.
Statistically Wisconsin has not been very good this year, and that was against some not so good teams. We need to find some answers on O or we are going to get in big trouble later on. We can't expect the D and special teams to score all our points for us.
When getting sacked the intentional grounding is meaningless, even though I agree that was a bad call. It is really the most stupid penalty in football as it does not penalize you at all. Nobody grounds it unless they are going to get sacked anyway, and they just put the ball where the sack...
LOL - He does love those receivers. The guy absolutely decimated the Lions so I sure don't consider anything he says as an expert opinion.
That's why I listen to the Ohio State radio network instead of the TV dolts.
In any event, "developing an NFL QB" is a crapshoot at best. Look at one of the most successful NFL QBs in the modern era: Tom Brady. He was not even a first team Big 10 QB (honorable mention at best I believe), and yet excelled in the NFL. Many other star QBs at the college level have been...
That just about covers it.
Go Bucks.
Personally I think TP is due for a breakout game where he gets over that "hump" and starts playing to his true potential. Troy Smith did, now it's about time for TP to do so as well.
