Lose some weight and be a wr/rb instead of a rb/wr? Not sure how Meyer is going to fit Hall, Hyde, Smith, Dunn, Ball and the freshman into games, but he's talked about how important it is to get the best 11 in the field.
Please excuse my girlfriend's awesome singing voice, but here's a video from the post-game on-field celebration.

Seriously? I used to (when I first got the game) blitz a lot, then stopped because I felt like I'd get burned deep a few times a game.
I was thinking in hindsight I should have been running lots of routes with five guys running deep, and hope one of the five gets a clean release then just lob a...
1. Gardner hadn't even practiced at QB all season. You can't just throw a kid out there and tell him to run the offense.
2. I don't know about this year, but over the course of his career he's a player almost everyone agrees is dangerous and explosive. To say that he's not is crazy.
People who think that Gardner is a better QB that Robinson are crazy.
1. If he was a better QB, he wouldn't have been playing WR all year.
2. He has Minnesota and NW. Minnesota has two conference wins -- Purdue and Illinois. It took OT to beat NW and its horrible secondary. He hasn't exactly...
I think I know what you're talking about. What do you do against the comebacks? The best I can figure out is blitz a lot and try to get pressure because those routes do take some time to develop.
On the other side of the ball, I had been doing really well on offense lately, but this guy just...
Do you mean before or after the snap? Couldn't you just tell them to press?
Usually when I see someone using lots of audibles, I change my defense to the opposite of what I was just in. That often helps, but isn't great.
Am I seeing people run more comeback routes and corner routes or am I just noticing them more? Is there a good way to stop the comebacks? All I can figure out is blitz a lot because they take a while to develop. Also, maybe Cover 2?
It's also nice to not have Joe Bauserman as the next QB off the bench. I don't feel like the offense would fall apart with Guiton in command. (Of course there'd be a drop off, but it wouldn't be like when Miller came out vs Nebraska last year.)
Can't believe no one has posted here yet. It was awesome to see Boren getting touches (and a TD) today. As someone who grew up watching the Nebraska triple option, I have a special affinity for seeing big FBs running the ball.
