  1. Columbus Wild Dogs (IFL)

That was the third come from behind road victory for the Destroyers this season. This Saturday's game is the biggest since the Destroyers arrived in Columbus. If they win, odds are greatly in their favor to make the playoffs even if they lose in week 16. If they lose, odds are greatly against...
  2. Reds Tidbits (2006 Season)

When a team with bad pitching needs to seize every opportunity to score runs, that includes scoring guys from 1st with 2 outs, not just beating out an infield single and scoring the guy on second with 2 outs. For every time they are able to execute with they did on that play, there are far more...
  3. Reds Tidbits (2006 Season)

Without an outstanding pitching performance from Arroyo, that Phillips/Freel play is fairly meaningless. That's not to say I don't enjoy small ball ( I actually prefer it), but small ball offense needs good pitching as well to produce wins. At this point I'm not convinced yet that we have "good"...
  4. Columbus Wild Dogs (IFL)

The Destoyers' coaching staff almost threw that game away. Down 31-24 in the 3rd, Soul QB Matt Sauk threw a 3rd and 9 pass into the stands. But instead of it being 4th and 9 at midfield for the Soul, Destroyers' line coach Ian Cooper was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct giving the Soul first...
  5. Columbus Wild Dogs (IFL)

    1) Great potential money making industry 2) Lots of untapped talent 3) Large fan base 4) Need for value priced entertainment Those are easily the 4 bigs ones. Others would be the desire to continue watching local college stars play. Or perhaps a sense of community spirit for towns that aren't...

I concur with your suggestion. I can see how Dispatch posts wouldn't need such an explanation, but this one would. A more appropriate question for discussion is "What do think think about the recent growth of numerous professional indoor football leagues and teams that are not even part of the AFL?"
  7. Columbus Wild Dogs (IFL)

As has been pointed out, I haven't posted here in 2 years. Prior to this thread I made one post: http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?p=496292#post496292 which is a post in the alumni forum about how Chris Spielman, Vinny Clark, Tom Cousineau and possibly Terry Glen and Joey...

It said "failed to connect to: (can't remember web address)". The next line said "Try another server".
  11. Chat during the Spring Game

It wouldn't let me connect either. I hope it works come this fall. I am sure it would be used on game days.

Not only have you insulted college graduates everywhere by claiming that ANYONE can pass college level courses, now you just told the CFL players that 195 pound high schoolers are bigger, faster, and more skilled than they are. Let me remind you once again that the United States Judicial System...
  13. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

Are you telling me that these 195 pounds soaking wet players you are so concerned about are as big, as fast, and as skilled as the CFL players? I never made the claim that the CFL is in the same class as the NFL. I pointed out that they are both comprised of men. If you are so concerned about...
  14. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

It was an excellent post. The facts are there and they aren't spun to represent something they don't. I will admit I thought the number was close to 100%, but I was sure it wasn't only 30-40 schools. The actually numbers appear to be right in the middle of the claims both you and I made.
  15. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

Am I suppossed to be impressed? Lots of talk does not make one correct. If this were true, the courts would throw this case out. Not only have they not thrown it out, they ruled in favor of it. Hardly a precedent they would set for an argument that only runs around in circles as you claim. Yet...
