Consider registering! Fewer and higher quality ads, no emails you don't want, access to all the forums, download game torrents, private messages, polls, Sportsbook, etc. Even if you just want to lurk, there are a lot of good reasons to register!
IF that is the reason then it deserves to be mocked. Any coaching change not based solely on merit is ridiculous and is not what is best for the program.
This, to me, is the most searing indictment of Corey Dennis. I'm fine with the 'Ryan Day works with the 1, Dennis works with the back ups' narrative, but when Dennis's guy went in the offense became non functional. That's on Dennis.
If he's truly being kept around as a "favor" to Urban Meyer then I think that favor has been fulfilled at this point. Meyer brought in coaches like Greg Studrawa and Bill Davis that did years of harm to recruiting. Some positions still haven't recovered.
Not gonna lie...I'm not super pumped about the OL that struggled all year coming back. I'm not sure what the alternative is, and experience has to count for something, but this past season was the worst OL that I've ever seen at Ohio State.
Joe Philbin, who spent most of his career in the NFL and college as an OL coach is on staff as an offensive analyst. I would hope that he's also involved in any decisions.
