  • Welcome to the Buckeyeplanet board. I've got a good friend who grew up friends with Bo Pelinis brother Vince. They swam together. When Bo was 5 or 6 my friend and Vince tied him to a crab apple tree and pelted him with crab apples hit from tennis rackets. Mrs Pelini went nuts. That's what growing up in Youngstown Ohio does for you!!! He's tough. Share this tidbit with the Husker Nation. Great having you in the Big 10!!!
the book is definitely awesome. i actually wrote in to him for the "left out" parts. he replied with them and a hand written note.

    pure win.
Being born in '79, before the BTN, I had never seen an actual game with Woody on the sideline. I've seen twenty now. I just checked my on-demand to see if Nebraska has been added to the team list yet, and they haven't. Can't imagine it taking that long tho.

Thanks! She's pretty awesome. She's not a daddy's girl yet. I figure when I can start teaching her cuss words, we'll bond more. :p
Yeah, the BTN can be pretty sweet. One thing that annoys me, though I'm honestly nit-picking...is when they have greatest such and such of a particular decade. They'll have best RB's from the 70's, and a PSU RB will make the list. They didn't play the '73 Buckeye D, one of our best ever...so their stats are suspect imo.

With Time-Warner On-Demand, you'll be able to go under your team name and find all kinds of good stuff. Old games, old coach's shows, etc.

From what I remember, the BTN is currently buying up all kinds of archival footage from members local outlets and such that they didn't have rights to previously. So in the future you may be able to find OLD stuff on there.

Overall, I couldn't be happier that I don't have to watch ESPN for classic games and such.
