I'm not happy that it's necessary, but I'd go with Homan at Will, Freeman at Sam, and Wilhelm at...uhhhhhh Laurinaitis at Mike.
Whoever plays Mike better get their motor going and fill the hole early, as Pitcock and Patterson did their job keeping the OL occupied all afternoon. Penton, on the...
If this happens this weekend, giving us Homan, Johnson, and Moeller in this class, I believe that with or without Gibson, I wouldn't trade our LB class for any other, including that of USC.
Come on down, Mark! Be a Buckeye! Join the OSU/NFL linebacking fraternity which includes AJ Hawk, Bobby...
With Thomas scheduling a Pitt visit the following weekend, it's obvious that a decision will be made quickly. If blown away by his OSU visit, he'll make the call to Pitt and never make the trip to Pitt. If he takes the trip to Pitt, I'd be shocked that he'd swith to the Bucks.
By all accounts...
Bobby is one of our greatest and most versatile athletes in Buckeye history. He can play all 3 LB positions and rush DE, he plays with emotion and aggression, and he gives everything he has on every play. A true native Central Ohio Buckeye.
He broke his fibula, near the ankle joint. Of bones...
B. Hartline
One of the things that I love to do, when I go to the Horseshoe, is to show up early to watch pre-game warmup. While it's only practice, I've been really impressed with the young receivers, especially Dukes, Hartline, and Robiske. All 3 run very crisp routes. Hartline and Robiske...
I'll be up in the Abyss by 9pm Friday. 4 of us at the Marriott, and 4 at the Holiday Inn. We'll do a drive-by to take out the sCum alums at the H-Inn bar (thanks for the tip), followed by a full assault on the Arbor Brew Co., hopefully ending with a conquest of the Lone UM Virgin at the stroke...
There was no consideration of OSU on Oct. 6, as their was essentially no offer with open arms from OSU to AB as of 2 weeks ago. No communication equals no interest.
The Bucks will be fine. AB will be fine in Blacksburg.
Go Bucks!
Anything could happen on the 6th. If the Browns' allow the smoke to clear, he'll come north for the next 4-5 years. There is no way he gets on the field as a starter until at least his junior year at ND or VT. If he gets lost in the shuffle out of state, he may not get quite the same opportunity...
Pardner,
My arm hurts just thinking about it. Too complicated for my small brain..I'll just drink.
Seriously, Brent is a Buckeye fan, and a good luck charm for us. This is very good Karma.
Go Bucks!
Cyclops and Jacko's baby Mark have me crying, but "Egg on face" is PERFECT for Gameday. Someone step up to the plate.
Personally, I won't waste my time at their set early Saturday. I prefer Upper Arlington backyard cookout and no pads backyard football while watching ND-sCum on big screen to...
Freeman's knee was reportedly scoped. Rumor is out 1-2 weeks, ala Clarett in 2002, re: meniscal tear.
Laurinaitis is big for 2 reasons: he is as good as reported last year....and we're real thin at SAM with Freeman out.
Go Bucks!
WW,
Thanks for the first hand assessment. I hope Bollman gets this game film soon. Further bolsters my suspicions that Nagy is the best OL left on the board from Ohio, Aaron Brown included. JMO.
Go Bucks!
Aston looks like a player
The Hoot 'n Holler clip is great. Final play is #29, James Aston, the walk on from Texas (wrestling schollie). While short (5'9"), he is a good one, bouncing a defender off his thighs in this clip, and looked shifty on the ESPN covered practice 2 days ago. I think he...
The tight end situation has become the most perplexing position on the team. What should be a serious position of strength (Hamby, Nicol, Frost, Hall) has been altered by injuries and issues.
Hamby is dinged, but should be ready to go. Anyone who thinks that he isn't #1 is wrong. If used...
Love it! Another "favorite" on my screen!
Hells Bells was the team's theme song in our 2002 NC year, and it's JT's website intro song.
Carpenter and Richardson looked jacked up during the tug 'o war, didn't they?
I'm ready to go. Go Bucks!
22,
I don't disagree with you. The information coming from the Source is never consistent, and is either intended to misdirect or all in fun. Believe me, if all the information were posted, it would make an unbelievable drama. Let's watch it play out.
Go Bucks!
While I'm sure that this is far from over, the latest word is that South of our border is looking favorable. Of course, that will not be the official word on the Internet, but that is from a very credible source.
We need Aaron to join Connor and Jake Ballard on our line of the future...
