Can't complain about a 9-6 start with a couple injuries and a couple slow starts. All you gotta do is win 9 out of every 15 and you're definitely in the playoffs
Going to be a very interesting week in ol portal. Getting a plug and play O-lineman but would be ideal but I don't know how realistic. I know I'm going to sound like an old man here but I totally agree with Klatt when he said that one portal window is fine but having 2 a year is ridiculous. I'm...
I don't want to pile on the guy, I wish him well, but I've heard 2 draft podcasts talk about how it was hard to really grade Harrison b/c of how bad McCord was. If Sayin is throwing the ball the best of them he should start.
Agree. Truly bizarre they didn't use him when he showed he was capable and they had injury issues. I'll never understand why they didn't give him 20 carries in the Georgia game. Planning for 2 years from now in today's college football with a redshirt is dumb. The rumors of him either fumbling...
I have a lot of respect for De La Cruz learning english. He didn't have to, and he's got enough on his plate living in a different country and trying to succeed at the highest level of the game, so it shows a work ethic.
If you believe the rumors that Alford had kind of stopped grinding, especially on the recruiting trail, I don't see how that could be the case with Locklyn. He obviously still has a lot to prove as a coach.
Love to hear the encouraging reports about him. With their weapons all they need is the kind of QB who can process quickly and get the ball out on time, accurately. And occasionally scramble for a first down on 3rd and 5. A Brock Purdy type, which it sounds like he might be. Obviously the...
It's pretty insane how bad a coaching job Holtmann did this year. This team clearly has enough talent to be much better than 9-11 in the conference. They look like a totally different team under Diebler.
Apologies in advance for the "these damn kids today" rant. I was reading the 11w skull session and Eichenberg said his favorite player was Ray Nitschke and the writer of the article said he had to look up who that was. How are you a big enough football fan you write for a football website and...
Wish him well obviously. Never really understood why some people were so hard on him. Lesmerises and THE podcast guys were especially hard on him. I mean, I understand being Urban's SIL makes you an easy target. But he played 4 years of pretty high D-1 college football. Plenty of guys get hired...
