This Saturday, in addition to the Mizzou/OU game that means so much for the Scarlet and Grey,
another big game is going on: Army/Navy.
I know this is a meaningful game with great rivals and high emotion. (I rank it second on my list of huge rivalries, ahead of the Iron Bowl)
I have read...
After reading OCBucksFan's post on L.A. bandwagon fans in the USC/Arizona State game thread, I did a little thinking and wondering.
How can you spot a bandwagon Buckeye fan or bandwagon BP member?
For my 600th post,
I would like to know what was your favorite upset that did not involve Meatchicken or Notre Dame (such as Louisiana-Monroe, Stanford, etc.)
Below my name for a while, I saw the words "All American."
Now it says "Heisman."
Are these rankings for the number of posts?
I am a little curious as to what it means and how it changes.
Today was a day that made me so lucky to be a member of BuckeyePlanet!
With what tOSU, Texas Tech, and B.C. did today (too bad Notre Dame won), it was a GREAT day!
You guys know so much more about college football than the people at my college.
That is why I love to interact on BuckeyePlanet.
For my 500th post,
I wanted to point out something very interesting.
Next week, the Iron Bowl is being played, but who's paying attention?
They have a lot of losses heading into this game, including Alabama losing to LOUISIANA-MONROE???
Kansas/Missouri and Virginia/Virginia Tech play for...
I am curious as to what you guys are doing for Thanksgiving.
It is my favorite holiday of the year: no school, food, and football!
What about you guys?
I am also a basketball fan, so I will make my first of many contributions to the NBA thread and here's my first one.
Which NBA team are you sick and tired of hearing about?
For me, it's the Spurs- I find them to be an uninteresting and boring team: I think Duncan is a class guy, but Bowen is...
I know what happened to tOSU was traumatic,
but I just want to catch some people up on other scores.
Arizona State edged out UCLA, but not before the Bruins tried their version of the Trinity lateral play.
Georgia DEMOLISHED Auburn 45-20! Also, Georgia wore some SWEET black uniforms...
Who had the most embarrasing Saturday?
Nebraska- Getting absolutely ANNIHILATED by Kansas
Notre Dame- Losing to Navy for the first time since '63
Oklahoma State- How to blow a lead against Texas in just 30 minutes!
Matt Ryan- Getting outplayed by freaking Drew Weatherford
Other
This year,
many team units have been known for being really bad on defense (Nebraska, Louisville) or bad on offense (Syracuse, Notre Dame).
I want to know which is THE WORST.
Nebraska's Defense
Texas Tech's Defense
Louisville's Defense
Notre Dame's Offense
Florida's Defense...
Besides tOSU's game with Wiscy and the Showdown in Autzen,
there are some games that set up for potential comedy.
Which would be funnier:
Kansas beating up on Nebraska
OR
Navy beating Notre Dame for the first time since 1963!
There were a lot of entertaining college games today.
Which non tOSU game would you consider the best?
Here are my choices
USC-Oregon- High stakes, great action, big plays
Georgia-Florida- Emotions running high, fun game to watch, lots of points
South Carolina-Tennessee- I know a lot of...
All week long, I was so upset with the fact that I got Miami/FSU instead of Texas Tech/Missouri.
Oops.
The game I wanted is lopsided (Can we cancel their conference's title game and just give almighty OU what apparently is theirs)
while the game I did NOT want is actually a very good game...
Anybody remember the fans throwing the trash on the field in the Colorado/Arizona baseball game?
I just saw something similar in the Alabama/Ole Miss game.
Anybody watching this?
In the likely event tOSU's score against Kent State is hilariously lopsided,
what other game will you watch as a backup?
I will watch Central Florida-South Florida- Remember, UCF almost beat Texas.
What about you guys?
