Fred Hoiberg is my guess. I heard a radio interview months ago with an NBA insider saying how the Bulls players liked him, but didn't view him as an NBA guy and the speculation was that he would be let go this year or next. i think he would be a great fit at OSU.
These proposed sanctions are in response to a Notice of Allegations that does not include lack of institutional control or failure to monitor. Why is it so outrageous to some that they are not recommending a bowl ban?
Well, I know one current player pretty well and I know for a fact that he hasn't sold a thing. That goes for many other players. Ray needs to think a little more before he speaks... then again, given his track record at OSU, I should know that is asking too much.
You don't recommend a two game suspension for a violation that historically has gotten 90% of coaches fired unless there are some serious mitigating factors. Keep in mind the NCAA worked WITH OSU this entire time. There is something very unique about this situation, and I think it has...
From people who know much more than most of us will ever know, the scope and depth of OSU's investigation was almost unprecedented. The NCAA's impression of OSU after the investigation was that OSU was a "model program".... their words... not mine. OSU took its turn under the microscope and...
Drink Hoegaarden.... seems like we always play well when I drink it. I hadn't drank it in awhile, but broke it out for the PSU and it worked like a charm.
Unless I'm reading my Phil Steel magazine wrong, UVA isn't supposed to be very good this year. I'm not sure why USC is getting props for playing that game.
He's a stud. Of all the players in this contest, he could go on to have the best career... well, he and Hamilton assuming Hamilton stays healthy and keeps it together.
Yep... he would contribute, no doubt. Out of 30 MLB teams, you would think that one would be willing to put up with the sideshow that would come with Bonds to make their team better.
I totally agree... and for them to deny it is simply being dishonest.
Inherent in the RPI and SOS is the caliber of conference you play in. Same with road wins vs. teams ranked in the top 100 of the RPI. It's all built in as a part of that final number.
The overall RPI speaks for itself: It...
Totally agree. I don't think the Mitchell Report will do anything to the game this year. Most say they're sick of hearing about steroids in baseball and just want to the season to start. Plus, the game is full of young up and coming stars and I believe attendance was at an all-time high last...
I wonder if IU fans realize that IU basketball is closer to NC State than it is Kansas, Carolina, UCLA or Kentucky. The great ones are great regardless of who is coaching. I'm still waiting to see some post-Knight success other than that one fluke final four run under Davis.
