I feel bad for the guy. He seems to be a loyal guy and a good recruiter. Maybe he was just a victim of the poor defensive scheme the last two years. I'm sure he'll be in demand.

It's important to build those relationships. He may also be asking for information about players the coach is familiar with at other high schools. He may value Coach Hayes's opinions.

I post when I have something to say that I think adds to the discussion. Take a look at how many of my posts before this set of hires were critical. Look up how many times in 16 years I've even had an opinion on a coaching hire and posted it.

They needed to stop the skunkbears running game. They couldn't. The offensive line was outplayed and made as many mental mistakes as I can remember them making in a long time. Due to those things, the offense had zero margin for error.
