2019-2020 Ohio State Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

Lose by 12 when the opponent misses 16 FTs. That loss should have been much worse. Not a very good team right now.

    Bump...getting some time tonight.

Cincinnati Reds 2019 season (Black Hole)

The Pirates didn’t throw at his head two months ago. Feel free to share the video and prove me wrong. I’m no big fan of Hurdle but Bell is a clown and his players are following his lead. There’s a reason Bell’s been ejected 8 times (leads MLB) already this season. He’s an embarrassment to the game.

Cincinnati Reds 2019 season (Black Hole)

This is the pitch that got Bell’s ass so chapped. Are MLB pitchers not allowed to throw the ball over the plate if the other team deems it “too high?” Both teams suck but David Bell is approaching Tom Creen status.

Pittsburgh Pirates (5x WS Champions) Ain't Nutting happenin'

Frazier was also unavailable for tonight’s game and Lyles got hit in the hand with a liner and didn’t return for the 7th. Well, here’s to the best record in the NL.

He partially tore his meniscus, had surgery about a month ago. Expected to be ready for summer camp.

SG Austin Grandstaff (transfer to Oklahoma, transfer to DePaul, transfer to Texas A&M-Commerce)

As I see the updates on the futility of former players it makes me wonder if we should we be making fun of Grandstaff or the previous regime for offering him (them) a scholarship?

They're unwatchable right now. Still waiting for Glasnow to get the call from AAA but management is making excuses as to why he isn't ready even though he pitched 7 hitless innings last night and hasn't given up an earned run over his last 21 innings.

2016 NCAA Baseball Tourney (TOSU in Louisville Regional)

7 - 3 final. No real surprise. Kent State and Wright State have been the best college baseball teams in Ohio for a few years. Too bad Kent State didn't get an at-large bid this season.

2016 NCAA Baseball Tourney (TOSU in Louisville Regional)

Will the Buckeyes throw their #1 against Wright St. or save him for a possible matchup with Louisville?

Pittsburgh Pirates (5x WS Champions) Ain't Nutting happenin'

True, if they could both move into the starting rotation and prove effective then a liability (starting pitching) could become a strength of the team. I think the Cubs can be caught if our pitching can improve.

Pittsburgh Pirates (5x WS Champions) Ain't Nutting happenin'

Locke, while not outstanding, has pitched reasonably well for a 5th starter this season (IMO.) Nicasio is the guy who isn't getting it done. His ERA for May was 6.75. We need him to get it together or for Glasnow or Taillon to step in and solidify that spot in the rotation.

Cincinnati Bengals (official thread of False Hope 2015)

    1. A 3rd and 7 false start trailing by 5 with 1:56 to play in the 4th quarter hardly qualifies as "some obscure play". Especially when it occurs 10 feet in front of the line judge and was clearly visible during the live broadcast. Your inability to notice it live doesn't mean it qualifies as...

Cincinnati Bengals (official thread of False Hope 2015)

Agreed. My point was there were missed calls both ways that could have significantly affected the outcome of the game. I get tired of fans claiming their team is always getting screwed when that's not reality.

Cincinnati Bengals (official thread of False Hope 2015)

Did Green flinch before the snap and if so does that qualify as a false start? I noticed it live while I was watching and every person I showed it to today (Bengal fans included) agrees he flinched and should have been called for a false start.

Honest question, should that have been a false start?

Cincinnati Bengals (official thread of False Hope 2015)

For all you conspiracy theorists out there complaining about the refs giving the game to the Steelers, should AJ Green have been called for a false start on this play?
