I don't think it's a choice for Day so much as a necessity. Urban had a national approach because he had the reputation and pedigree to go out and pull those top 100 national recruits, anywhere in the country. Right now, as a first-time HC, Day doesn't have that. We all think highly of Coach...

He was line coach at (edit:)Washington until the 2013 season, and he joined Alabama as an 'analyst' for the 2014 season. So an off-season's worth? Tough to remember at this point, but bull regardless (IMO). We should hire Scott Frost as an "analyst" - I wonder if the media would react similarly.
