I'm guessing at 5 plays (+/-2) with Henton at QB used much like PSU's game. Mostly keepers, maybe one hand off, or one bootleg run/pass option to the TE.
This would not surprise me one bit, and I would welcome some change of pace. Even if LSU is expecting it.
Brian is becoming an awesome blocker. Iowa game was classic.
Just watched replay of TGII's punt return, and Hartline slammed the last Spartan who could've had a chance at Teddy.
Robert Rose made the biggest impression on me. He just seems to have that presence about him. 2nd/3rd team OT's had no chance. I can see him getting meaningful minutes into this season.
About 25-30K sounds about right for attendance.
Band made an appearance as well.
I think Johnson is being forced out. Tressel saw the film from the scUM game. Al's sideline dance was atrocious!!
The players can't respect him after that jig.
Fairies in Ann Arbor
Today's Columbus Dispatch Travel Section has an article about "Fairy Doors" showing up all over Ann Arbor. These folks have really lost it!!

Found Wpost link...Too funny.
After watching his film, I don't see him as the same type of athlete as Teddy. Very fast yes, but shorter strides, heavier, lowers his shoulder and moves the pile (granted HS talent). Very excited about his future.
Jarrett is only a true Soph. He has been on campus for two years, one of which he lived in an apartment with a rent payment >$3,500.
Here is why this is a problem (not saying this is what happened)....
Matt to Dwayne...."Pick USC, my dad will set us up in a sweet apartment next year..."
Mitchell has 2 or 3 starts under his belt. '04 when Salley went down with a stinger. He has played well and has the smarts to help make the reads and adjustments for the DB's. Jenkins also has a handful of starts (Everett stinger)
Our linebackers are also not all green. MDA had decent game...
We may be able to replace his athletic ability but not his experience and leadership. He was described as a film room junkie. You could see this pay off in his ability to blow up screens.
I understand why guys like Donte leave early, but I would advise them differently. If you are not going...
Bizarro World Tight End.
Run towards the middle of the field and stay in bounds when you need to stop the clock.
Run to the sideline and out of bounds when there is no time left.
Classic scUMer!!
I have a feeling Whitner is leaning towards coming out early. Just the way he was quoted in today's dispatch piece. Sounds like he is justifying leaving early even if you are not a 1st rndr.
I think Ashton comes back, and I hope Whitner stays, we shall see.
Flights arriving on the 26th or earlier were less expensive than those arriving closer to game time. Most fans would not fly in until 12/30 at the earliest. Demand for flights drives the prices.
