This is a serious post. If the mods feel like this does not belong here please let me know and we can have it deleted.
I have a lead on a job in the Columbus area. They are looking for someone that has 5-7 years of pricing experience, service and international experience would be an added...

Good for AMD but how about the consumer? It will be a GE business model, the top one or two will rule and the rest will fall by the wayside.
I will not say grass, it was green weeds with purple, yellow and white flowers.
I will not say lawn after a bulldozer, tractor and bobcat have turned it into the lunar surface.
It was ugly and now it looks better. I did not get to drink any beer as I had to chain saw a few trees afterward.
I did...
We have had a few car threads on here before. Recently we had one on what you drive. In that thread I mentioned that I just took my truck in for the 90,000 mile service. I imagine many of you rely on your local mechanic or perhaps a national chain to service your vehicle. Do you trust them? Here...
We have had a few threads on cars and gas but I could not find one on the time you spend commuting.
I have stated a few times that I work about a mile from my home. Normally it is a five minute drive.
Thanks to Katrina and Rita the population in my area has swelled. The traffic has increased...
It Looks Like I was Right,
But I wish I was wrong!
Hurricane Katrina has a bullseye on the NOLA area.
She will probably hit here at Category 4. The gulf water is almost 90 degrees so it is expected to gain strength before land fall. The predicted track is right over my home.
My wife, Kids...
If the mods think this belongs in the pro football thread go ahead and move it.
Hank passed away this weekend. He lived close to where I live now. He loved NOLA and settled here after his coaching days.
Some thing Hank was known to have contributed to the NFL.
The two tight end set...
The thermometer has been above 90 here for the past few days and it is humid. Any of you that remember my spring thread can now smile with revenge. We did have an excellent April and two weeks into May.
I have been traveling a great deal lately. I have seen bare backs and bellys. I have seen...
We lost power for a few minutes late last night.
When the power came back on you could tell we were not getting full juice. The lights were significantly dimmer and there was not enough power for a TV or PC. Later the security system started to chirp.
I got up this AM and proceeded to reset...
I have a sales rep in Ann Arbor and I know he got hit with heavy snow this week.
Me I got up early today and put down 100 lbs of weed and feed.
I then shocked and backwashed the pool.
This PM I will take my daughter around to the local creek to see if we can catch some tadpoles for school...
Not what you are thinking?
My Credit Card company called me last night about some unusual activity.
My wife and kids are in Orlando so I was not worried.
Turns out there have been several $1.00 purchases on the web.
I guess this is a trial run before the badguys try to buy something big...
When I was working out watching CNBC, along with a few other things, they ran a segment on the year end bonuses wall street investment analysts were getting.
Some houses were reporting bonuses in the $1-2 Million range.
It sounded like the M&A crowd at Goldman Sachs did well at $2 million...
This is not our standard BP thread.
I do not know how many of you follow business but the CEO of HP, Carly Fiorina, was fired today.
I was never a fan of hers.
I believe she got the job partly becuase she was a woman.
HP's financial results have sucked and again she was kept on longer...
Maybe we can keep this one off the political board.
You can invest up to $14,000 this year with a $4,000 kicker if you are over 50.
The only gotcha is if you make more than $95K. You are then considered a highly compensated employee and the rest of the employees need to kick in to theirs or...
In what is one of the strangest traditions I have been introduced to; the southern part of LA has the day off.
No mail, government and private offices close down.
Normal people dress up in strange and sometimes erotic customers and stand by the side of the road in pursuit of beads, coconuts...
Here is a link to a rejected Super Bowl Ad.
Pretty funny and PG-13 at best.
www.godaddy.com/qdshop/superbowl05/landing.asp
I cannot get it to work from here.
Just click on the link at the top of the page you end up on.
If this does not work just go to godaddy.com and you will...
I will admit I am a little, OK a lot, different than most folks on this but I have sent my Federal tax return in this week. As usual I get a small refund. I prefer to owe money but the additional child tax credit did me a favor.
I do owe the state some but I have until May to pay so I will...
No not me.
I traveled most of October, November and half of December.
When I got off the road I picked back up working out. They completely remodeled the club while I was away.
The last two weeks were nice but now the New Years Resolvers are there in full force.
We have 20 elliptical...
My 5 year old daughter brought my wife her Christmas list last week.
It read
Dear Santa Claus
Would you please bring me for Christmas
a dog
a ginepig
a baby sister
My wife explained that Santa may not be able to bring what she wanted.
My daughter went back and added
a TV plez
and money...
