I would say that he knows OSU is going to bring in atleast 2 rb's this year along with already having pittman and haw in the fold. scUM is still deeper right now, but he may see grady as his only real competition in 2 years.
There was so many different formations and adjustments made today I felt out of rhythmn my self. I think there was definitely a lot of experimenting going on, which is what needs to happen with a young offense. I'm just happy and surprised that jt went about it that way! Overall, good things are...
I don't get the impression that the coaches were really trying to put their gameplan in right now and see how it works as much as just seeing different guys run similar plays and how each one looked doing it. I really think jt has a handfull of plays he will run every game and expects to be...
I don't see why there is a need for one of them to red-shirt. If they both prove capable of helping OSU win games during camp, they should both be given a chance in games. I think OSU has been hurt by injuries at the rb position the last few years and would be wise to have as many healthy bodies...
According to that article;
he doesn't like cold weather!....strike 1!
his dad doesn't want him to go too far away!.....strike 2!!
I think strike 3 is just around the corner!:hatepc:
I remember at some point last year, trev actually said he's officially on the OSU bandwagon now. He got tired of picking OSU to lose, only to see them win and make him look silly. He is still annoying in my book, but may is the one that makes me want to stick sharp things in my ears!:hatepc...
With or without m. wells, stewart would seem to be a very, very good get. I like his size and his openly wanting a buckeye offer. PLUS, the more recruits we get from states we don't usually recruit very hard, the better!
I think he's a long, long, longshot! If he's looking for early pt....penn st.; if he's looking for stiff competition from other top db's he'll choose OSU; if he's looking for fun and sun...gators. scUM...I don't know what the hell he'd be looking for up there!
To MZKENNEDY, I know dennis is now an akron zip by association, but to many of us, he'll always be a BUCKEYE! If your strong, positive attitude in these very trying circumstances are also traits of dennis, I don't think he'll have any problem succeeding in life.
Hey taz, After going to camps and competing against and seeing other top football players from around the country; do you think the "florida speed" myth still holds water? Has anyone player really caught your attention with their ability?
GREAT JOB,NUTTY! and thanks alot to c.j.! This is great getting to know more about the athletes we talk so much about. I hope that any other recruits cruising the board realizes how much of a positive impact they can make by doing things like this. I think it is a very positive thing and helps...
Hey taz, I just want to say thanks for staying in touch. What you are doing is not just a cool thing, it is what recruitniks like us dream about! Some posters have got to play for the BUCKEYES, but most of us have to live vicariously thru others such as yourself(if you become a buck). SO THANKS...
HH, I'm curious as to how you are going to react to this situation. Are you going to sell tOSU to florida recruits differently? How are the other florida recruits going to react to this? namely r. wilson? In other words, has your trust in OSU been permanently damaged?
My feelings all along have been that OSU passes the ball enough to compare to other teams, completing those passes and at times passing to the right wr or rb or te is a different story. OSU's offensive woes have been largely due to execution.
My list of possible frosh contributors:
qb-boeckman "could" get some time if there is an injury to either zwick or smith.
rb- pittman/haw will hopefully get some carries early in the season due to the injury history of ross/hall. I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of these frosh play...
I, like many, have loved and followed the BUCKEYES since I can remember. I didn't go to college, but I did serve in the army and fought many a verbal battle defending my BUCKEYES! The ironic part of my military service was the fact that I was stationed at ft. riley, kansas and spent many a...
I have seen haw in person during his teams playoff run. he is d-1 size right now.I expected to see a skinny legged speed back due to his known fast times in the 40, but was very surprised to see that he had legs like a lb'er! they are a notch below clarett's tree trunks, but he has the potential...
