  1. Who was the toughest Buckeye of all time?

I've got three votes: Jim Otis Jack Tatum Craig Krenzel
  2. Who is your least favorite Buckeye of all time (not counting MoC)?

How about... Reflecting on some of the character issues that Buckeye players may or may not have had, please remember they were all kids when they attended OSU. We all probably did some pretty dumb stuff back in the day and with the media focused on you all the time, it's a pretty tough road...
  3. OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

I just had to add this... Welcome Justin! We're proud to have you join the OSU football team. Go Bucks!
  4. OL Corey Linsley (B1G Champion, National Champion, All-Pro, Los Angeles Chargers)

Jim Otis? Does this guy look like Jim Otis? I can't find a photo of Otis, but that's the first thing I thought when I saw him. Man, I hope he's 1/2 as tough at Otis!
  5. OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

Rome is a tool Rome is a tool. His show is boring.
  6. Who's your favorite Buckeye...2008?

OK...So it's Beanie Not to knock the incredible talent on this team, but this guy's going to carry the team on his shoulders. He was awesome in the National Championship game and will just punish opposing teams. Go Beanie!:gobucks1::gobucks2:
  7. Who's your favorite Buckeye...2008?

Last year I had Big Vern as my favorite Buckeye. Who's yours for this coming year? I'm thinking Beanie or Marcus Freeman
  8. OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

Michigan Attrition Issues I wouldn't underestimate RR. Attrition is not a big deal if you are getting players who really want to play for you. A lax 5 star is worse than a one star who plays with all of his heart. RR's laying his foundation.
  9. Woody Hayes drove me to the NC game!

Me Too I didn't get a ride, but I ran into Roger at the 7-11 in Metairie. We talked for a couple of minutes. He was quite nice and I really appreciate all his energy and efforts. Thanks here to Roger!
  10. All-Jim Tressel Era Team

Na First off, what an embarrassment of riches. This team may have already bested Cooper's All-Time Team. As much as I like Vern, I hate to say that Darrion Scott was much more intimidating. Maybe it had more to do with his supporting cast, but this year you never heard of any "Sack Clubs"...
  11. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Troy's the man Troy's the man. F Gonzo
  12. WR Brian Robiskie (Official Thread)

Great Game Robo! Robo looked incredible versus YSU. If Boeckman couldn't find a receiver in the progression, he would just go back to Robo and it was money more often than not. He showed great hands and great routes. Great job Robo! Go Bucks.
  13. OBSERVATIONS FROM GROUND ZERO

Pettrey and Kickoffs I think the reason Pettrey can't hit the end zone this year is that they've changed their kicking strategy. They're going for 4 second hang time instead of booting it through the endzone. I think the point is that if they are forced to put the ball in play, then they have...
  14. WR Taurian Washington (official thread)

T-Wash It does. Maybe we should put in a dash. "T-Wash"
  15. WR Taurian Washington (official thread)

Small Out So with Ray Small out temporarily with an ankle sprain looks like TWash and Devon Torrence will get a chance to play that position. Torrence's 40 time was faster out of high school and from the news articles it looks like Torrence will play for Small while he's out. Does anyone...
  16. LB Brian Rolle (Official Thread)

Yes! I can't wait to see this guy blowing up opponents like crazy. He's a badass!
  17. Jim Tressel (National Champion, ex-President, Youngstown State University, CFB HOF)

Well I think he will be conservative, but he doesn't want to give away his hand. As always, he says he will play to his team's strengths. But he won't go beyond the conservative until that have that stuff down.
  18. Glen Mason (official thread)

Comments I'm glad to hear JT's reaction to Mason's firing, because it really is a shame. I hope Mason finds another good job. Yes, that bowl game stunk, but he did a hell of a job for Minny.
  19. '08 OH WR Cordale Scott (Illinois Signee; Transfer to Toledo)

40 Time Seems Off On the first page of this section, Scott's 40 is listed at 4.78 (same as Scout), and in the recruiting DB he's at 4.46. Anyone know what the more accurate 40 is?
