Head Coach
I got to thinking after yesterdays game with Bron/Wade. I think that this draft could go down as the best draft ever in any sport.
First off these guys are going to save the NBA. More people are watching now b/c of Bron, Wade, and Anthony.

The Headliners are :

James
Anthony
Bosh
Wade

- All of these guys are studs(all stars) and are all in the top 15 in the league in scoring. The big time matchup like yesterday are going to come often expecially with 3 of them being in the Eastern Conference.

The rest of the first round looked like this:

Darko - 22 min and 8 pts/game since trade from detroit. He is coming into his own and will continue to develop with time. Has a ton of potential.

Chris Kaman - 11.2 pts/game. #11 in the NBA in rb/game.

Kirk Hinrich - 16pts/game and is one of the best young pg in game. 17 in NBA in ast/game

TJ ford - 11pts/game, #14 in the nba in ast/game. Was hurt last year but made the Bucks a much better team this year.

Michael Sweetney - 9 pts/game and 5reb/game. Playing more with the bulls, than he was with the knicks.

Jarvis Hayes - 10pts/game for his carrer and has been a very good player for the wizards, been hurt most of this year.

Mikeal Pietrius - 9 pts/game, plays alot for the wizards and has 42 career starts.

Nick Collison - 7 pts/game, avg. 22 minutes for the sonics. Could become a very nice player for the Sonics in a couple years.

Marcus Banks - Since going to Minnesota is avg. 12pts/game and 5ast/game. He is looking to be KG's wingman.

Luke Ridinour - 11.5pts/game, 7.0ast/game that makes him #9 in the nba in ast/game.

Reece Gaines - not much from him only avg 2/game.

Troy Bell - no idea what happened to him. Not on any rosters.

Zarko Cabarkapa - avg 6pt/game last year, only 3 this year. has played in most of the Warriors games, but is still a project.

David West - 17.5pts/game 7.5reb/game. He could very well be the 5th best player in this draft.

Sasha Pavlovich - he has tons of potential, but he hasnt got a lot of pt with the Cavs, but he should improve and has a ton of talent.

Dahntay Jones - avg. 4pts/game not much from him. What do you expect from a dookie. :tongue2:

Boris Diaw - 13 pts, 7reb, 6ast. Looks to be a sutd for Phx.

Zoran planinic - still a project for the nets.

Travis Outlaw - came out of high school and is averaging 6 pts/game and is only 21 yrs old. Has a ton of potential for the Blazers.

Brian Cook - 8 pts/game. He is a very solid contributor to the Lakers.

Carlos Delfino - 3pts/game, but he has played in 60 games this year and is sitting behind some very good guys ahead of him.

Ndudbi Ebi - Is in the D-league avg. 11.5pts/game, only 21 so has alot of potential.

Kendrick Perkins - 5pts/game. Another 21 yr/old with potential.

Leanrdro Barbosa - 13pts/game. Ranks #2 in the nba in 3 pt percentage. Another solid contributor.

Josh Howard - 16.5pts/game. 6.5reb/game Is a very solid contributor to the very good Mavs team. He is another guy that could contend for that 5th best guy of the draft.

The guys in the seond round making an impact:

Jason kapano - solid guy in round 2. Had a season where he put up 8.5pts/game.

Luke Walton - avg. 5pts 2 ast /game. Very solid contributor to the Lakers. Good defender.

James Jones - 9.5 pts/game for suns, another good role player for Phx.

Kyle Korver - 11.6pts/game very good role player for philly.

Mo Williams - 13.5pts/game for bucks. A very good role player, and he has played very good this season.

Zaza Pachulia - 11.5pts/game 8reb/game, good player for the Hawks.

Keith Bogans - 9pts/game, 4reb/game, solid role player. Will be better once he finds himself a home.

Matt Bonner - 7pts/game. He can be a solid role player and is a very good shooter.

Steve Blake - 9pts/game. 4.5 ast/game. He is a very solid contributor for Blazers.

Some key stats:

- There are 22 guys that average more than 9pts.

- There are about 8 very good to decent pgs with Hinrich, Ford, Pietrius, Ridinour, Barbosa, Mo Williams, Bogans, Blake.

- Everyone from the first round is still on a team besides Troy Bell and Ebi who is in the D-league averaging 11.5pts/game.

-I have never seen anything like this.

James, Anthony, and Wade are probably 3 of the most popular players in the league, regardless of draft class. Those 3 alone are going to be the future of the NBA, and then with guys like Darko and Bosh, who are both very good but not as household-named as the first 3, it really makes it a remarkable group of guys.

IMO, 1984 will be tough to beat, simply because of Jordan's presence (G.O.A.T.), but they also had Hakeem, Barkley, and Stockton as the big-namers...

But you're right, as far as depth + superstar talent is concerned, 2003 is going to be the best for years to come.
