'05 CA OL Kevin Bemoll (California signee)

Even though it was expected, it is still excellent news! He must have been very excited to become a Buckeye, as he wanted to wait for Sanchez to decide, but just couldn't do it.

Note: I merged the new Bemoll thread with this one - thanks in advance for confining your Bemoll posts to this thread.

"I felt really, really comfortable there. It seems like the other offensive linemen up there are good, old farm boys and I just seemed to fit in with them."
Great quote! Kevin certainly looks like a Buckeye lineman.

Bemoll looks like a good ole farmboy, I hope he plays like one of those ones Nebraska used to have when they were rolling over everyone in the 90's.

Did he say anything in the article about MS, or any other recruiting he'll be doing for us?

I think I found the answer to my questioon

According to a BN Poster he said about MS:

"Nothing new, said it was down to Texas and OSU, and he was enamored with USC's Norm Chow, nothing about ND... said he was waiting so he could committ with MS, but MS is still undecided and he didn't want to prolong it any longer."

GO BUCKS!!!

Getting three blue chip OL's this early in the process really allows Ohio State to be creative with the last one or two OL slots in this class. The Bucks can now target some "sleepers", guys who may not have the size or strength or footwork yet, but might really be studs as red-shirt juniors. Some names that come to mind are Rocco Cironi (Warren Harding) and Rick Ingold (Newark), but there are plenty of others , both in-state and out. Quite a difference from last season, when our two of our first three commitments were "sleepers" (Skinner due to injury; Rehring being a big kid with lots of down-the-road potential), and our best OL prospect (Mitchum) didn't commit until mid-January.

BTW, this year could be OSU's best OL recruiting class ever (at least based on potential).

Woooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Damn I forget about the merge feature, I never get any practice on using these options :p

There are a few different threads where Clarity and I pick on your fantasy football ability. I'm sure you could find them and merge those

:p

If Ronnie Wilson wants to be a Buckeye you'd think he needs to commit soon. We're going to have an awfully impressive O-line down the road, something that was badly needed.

Mitchum, Person, Skinner, Boone, Cordle, Bemoll, Rehring, Barton and whoever we land in this class. Not a bad looking future 2 deep.
