'05 FL RB Conredge Collins (Pitt signee)

Not really important to OSU anymore, but I thought I would post for anyone interested....

He favors NCSU (who he visited back on 12/10) and Florida at this point. He has tried contacting a few schools himself to see if they are interested in him (side note: usually not a good sign when you have to call the school yourself). He was scheduled to visit UF on the 28th but he hasn't heard a word from the new staff since they got there. It seems as though just about everyone has cooled on Conredge.

If NCst. drops him, then there is something really wrong. NCst. seems to be the school of misfit academics.

Grades...Rivals lists him with a 2.8 and a 770 SAT. Too bad for Conredge...I think he could be a nice pickup for somebody.

Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt believes the Panthers' running game has made progress in recent weeks, but he is hoping to give it a boost by increasing the role of fullback Conredge Collins, who might be the team's best running back.
