'05 IL OL Dan Doering (Iowa signee)

It's great that he is seeing us play both games. But it looks to me like he is more interested in the teams we are playing against rather than the Bucks. Iowa is obviously one of his favorites and his home in Barrington, IL can't be much more than 100 miles from Madison. I'm sure he has some affinity for Wisconsin.

There is no question that Iowa has been and is the favorite. He has visited their campus many times. But he has no special, stated affinity for Wisky. He has been saying that tOSU might get one of his remaining two visits (after Iowa, Nebraska and ND) and I see this as a positive sign that we are at least still in the running.

Hey if we smack Iowa and Wisky in the mouth it can't hurt our chances!!! In reality Iowa might not make a bowl game this year!!!
i dont think the outcome of the games (on gameday visits) have much to do with a recruits decision. imo, it come down to whether or not the kid feels comfortable with the campus, atmosphere, academics etc.

Doering says his favorite changes every week and he won't know for sure where he's going to go until he finishes his visits. He talked about each of his favorites and mentioned he liked the Ohio State campus, the facilities, Coach Tressel and mentioned he gets a "good feeling from that program."

scUM has offered yet they are not among Doering's favorites. No matter where he ends up this kid is ok by me :wink2:

if Doering signs with OSU the SEC (the govt, not the conference) will intervene and impose an Anti-Monopoly act against this class.. it would be illegal to have Boone, Cordle, Bemoll, Taz? and Doering in one class... makes you drool all over your keyboard doesn't it...
