'05 IL OL Dan Doering (Iowa signee)

HH, what do you base your opinion on, 'I don't think he'll be a Buckeye'?

gut feel, or was something mentioned in your conversation, or are you just pulling for the FLA kid?

I can't believe they wouldn't make room for both of those kids--given the shortage of talented OL depth..

Shaffer absolutely got tossed around like a rag doll yesterday....he has terrible base technique--I am seriously questioning Bollman's coaching at this point.

your the man, but there is no way we pass on these two guys, if they both wanted to come here. even if taz commits first, doering is the type of guy you don't turn down, no matter how many o-lineman you have. and with our current state of affairs on the o-line, we need as much help as we can get...

Insiders premium- Chris Pool

Dan and dad discuss how impressed they were with their visit to tOSU. The visit went well enough that tOSU may secure one of the remaining two official visits and group them as a favorite along with Iowa, ND and NE. Miami could end up getting the fifth official.

Nice quote from Dan

"Ohio State was a great place, a great atmosphere. You get the feeling sitting in the stands that Ohio State is the Mecca of college football.

He had a good visit to Iowa (at least someone did) and the Iowa recruits were working on him hard for a commit. But he resisted and is set to take his official visits. He made no negative comments about tOSU's performance and is still considering them for one of his remaining official visits. His last two official visits will come from tOSU, Miami, OU, and Tennessee.
