Luke Fickell is turning out to be a very good recruiter.

He did a very good job with Rhyan Anderson last year. That alone has gotten OSU in the picture for Travis Beckum.

He has gotten Rico Mccoy very interested in OSU.

In this update McCoy mentions he is getting his official visits set. He still says Ohio State is leading the pack with Tennessee and scUM next on his list.

Pretty promising update considering it was done by a scUM site. :osu:

I'm really starting to like our chances with McCoy... Ever since Miami dropped out of the picture his interest in tOSU has really picked up.

As a consumate lurker, I just wanted to thank nutty, buckskin, and everyone else who brings so much great information and debate to these boards. Without the info you bring to this board, i'd be forced to actually talk to my girlfriend so i can't thank you guys enough. :)

The Florida websites have been saying for months that Miami has had an obsession with McCoy... virtually constant contact with him... so if the Canes are out... I feel pretty comfy

Miami is still going to get one of McCoy's 5 official visits along with Pitt, scUM, Tennessee and Ohio State. While the Canes aren't out of it I certainly like the Buckeyes' chances.

Rico Mccoy would be such a great recruit to get. He has the skills to be a good one. We need a few Linebackers in this class too.
