His No.1 choice is tOSU- He says that he will accept if offered by tOSU
He does not currently have an offer.

He intends on camping at tOSU this summer

His measurables seem better than his production - does anyone here know about his level of competition? Also, why he seems to like OSU so much? He went to OSU Nike, so his interest must be genuine.

LJB- Jay plays for Greensboro Ben L. Smith- this is Div 4A in NC ( big school division)- so it sounds like he is playing against some of the better teams in NC

Also, why he seems to like OSU so much?

Not sure but he did mention in the Rivals article that he has been looking at tOSU for six months, so it doesn't seem like it is a spur of the moment infatuation- he even mentioned liking both JT and Dick Tressell (rb coach)

You have to admire him for knowing what he wants and then trying to make it happen (Nike camp and summer camp)

Thanks, Buckskin,

Agreed. I hope that he has what it takes to score an OSU offer.

Just a thought ... with his size, I wonder whether Jay is playing FB for his team, and getting a lot of runs up the middle. Usually, high school TB's have gaudy numbers, and his 5.6 average seems fairly low. Top notch competetion could be a factor as well.
