    Ted Randolph
    Mocksville (NC)
    Davie County
    Height: 6-foot-4 (Nike)
    Weight: 244 pounds (Nike)
    40-yard dash: 5 seconds (Nike)
    Bench max: 290 pounds
    Bench reps: 15 (Nike)
    Squat max: 395 pounds
    Vertical leap: 24 inches (Nike)
    Shuttle time: 4.46 seconds (Nike)

Ted has offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, North Carolina, and East Carolina, and will be camping at Ohio State.

In his videos (Rivals), he displayed very soft hands and good power running after the catch. He is also a very good blocker (better than some of the OL clips I have seen), and clearly has a mean streak when he's locked up with a DL. The only downside is that, judging from his 40-time, he's a bit on the slow side (although it doesn't really show on the field).

Ted's an intriguing prospect who certainly has the size and the mentality to be an OL someday, but he also knows how to catch the ball; with a little more speed, he has the potential to be a Ben Hartsock type TE. I will eagerly await reports from OSU's camp on his performance.

    Rivals on Ted Randolph (7/8/04)

    Ted wants to decide soon.

He visited OSU this summer, and is interest in the Bucks; he has no offer currently, but the staff will let him know in a few weeks. “Ohio State seemed like they were really interested."

He has a "top 3", but he won't list the schools yet; two of his top three schools have offered. Hmmmm....
