In the latest Rivals update Lamont Robinson said he wants to narrow his list to about 8 to 12 schools and that Ohio State has come on strong recently.

In the latest Rivals Premium Robinson guarantees that tOSU will be one of his final group.

In commenting about Ohio State and the other top schools who are recruiting him, Lamont said that "it's an honor for them to be recruiting me." It's nice to see a kid have that attitude, when so many act like prima donnas during the recruiting process.

It is an honor to OSU by recruiting him? Or is it an honor to Lamont to be recruited by OSU? If he is saying that it is an honor for OSU, then that is not the attitude we need here.

My guess would be Robinson meant "it's an honor, for them to be recruiting me" not "it's an honor for them, to be recruiting me"

Yes, your comma is in the right place. I took the quote somewhat out of context, but the idea was that Robinson is honored to be receiving attention from such great programs.

I think you are correct; just to show how important a little comma is ;-)

That came out of left field. 17 verbals already? I guess they'll be done by December.

I thought Robinson was in no hurry to decide. What changed his mind? Hmmmmm

Lamont is now looking around. He was just at Georgia this weekend (where fellow NJ recruit- Kade Weston- committed).

He is taking an official visit to tOSU on Dec. 3rd. tOSU coaches are making an in-home visit tomorrow.
