It's not often that an athlete wins conference championships in the throws and sprints. Gilmour Academy's Eric Tupta did just that in last week's Metropolitan Area Conference-8 meet.

He won the shot put (48-0), the discus (132-10) and ran an 11.1 split on the winning 4x100 relay team, helping the Lancers win the team title.
