'05 OH OL Robert Brewster (Ball State signee)

If the Bucknuts poster is correct and we do take 5 O-linemen I anticipate us having a top 5 O-line class. Getting the top 3 O-linemen in Ohio along with Bemoll and another OOS guy would be a coup for the Buckeyes. I'm not that big on star ratings but you would have to believe we would get an average star rating of 4.

This would be the second straight year that we had a solid O-line class. Tressel seems to be very picky with who he offers on the O-line and I realy like that. If this trend continues we may see some of the greatest ground games OSU has ever seen.

How many we take IMO is dependent on who we can get. IMO Tressel will not reach for anybody at this position. He will take as many blue-chippers that he can while maybe sacrificing at the D-line or maybe DB positions(which there is not a great need for). The last couple of years I have noticed that Tressel will add players to a position even though there is not a glaring need as long as he can get the very best. The man will not pass up on talent he knows is top notch. We may take as many as 6 but maybe if the guys Tressel wants aren't interest or commit elsewhere we may only take 3.

IMO I think Tressel has a board with areas not specific positions or even categories like speed/power/speed and power. He has a general idea of areas and how many they need for example.
LB'er/Linemen
Db/LB'er
TE/O-line
etc.etc.

Bemoll Goes out to Gainesville, visits his uncle in Jacksonville and then hits St. Augustine...he has been to U of F a couple of times before.....he then gets home calls Art Kehoe at Miami and talks with him for a while. He tells Gaitor Bait the differences between Miami and Florida and then states that he has two more visits to LSU and OSU......I think he is going to end up a Gaitor or a Cane.

You are probably right, as he is on record as stating that he likes Florida, both the state and the university. However, one h.s. teammate (Williams) is already a Buckeye, and another (Sanchez) is seriously considering Ohio State, so you never know....

Sanchez seemed to surprise himself a little bit with what he found at Ohio State. It's one thing when people are telling you about a place, and something altogether different when you see it for yourself. I'm anxious to see if Mr. Bemoll doesn't find the same thing.

yea- Duane rated Brewster at no. 12 in the latest Ohio High- no. 3 lineman in the state.

You'd figure he'd have more offers if he was indeed the third best OL in the state...
