Ht: 6-6 Wt: 240 40: 5.25
Position: OL
Projected as: OL
High School: Warren G. Harding HS
(Warren, OH)

Cirroni currently weighs 260 pounds and would like to play at 280 this season. Early on he was considered one of the top 5 offensive lineman in Ohio. He'll need to bulk up some before he's ready to play at the next level. Plays football, basketball and baseball although he won't be playing baseball this year so he can focus on the weight room. He has great feet and is an excellent pass blocker. He likes both scUM and Ohio State but has no offers at this point.

It looks to be a good year for Olineman in Ohio. It will interesting to see where Rocco falls in the pecking order among guys like Haas, Cordle, Brewster, Tennant, White, Pollard and others. Ohio High ranked him 3rd to Boone & Haas in the last issue but I have a feeling that in the revision he will be further down the list. I think the concern with him is definetly the ability to keep the weight on but he appears to be a good athlete.

We should have no problem finding 3-4 Olineman (including Boone) this year between the talent in Ohio and PA. :)

He felt he had a good camp but needs to work on his 40 time. He has put on some much needed bulk in the last few months and is now 270lbs.

Rocco is still very interested in tOSU but does not feel the interest is mutual.

He hopes to commit to someone before or by the middle of the season.

Rocco is up from 250 to 280 pounds this summer and was recently offered by scUM St. He has a number of offers but would still like to hear from scUM and Ohio State.

I don't see how that 40-pound gain in weight from his original Insiders measurement is going to help with his slow 40-time. Granted, 40-times aren't usually that important for OL, but still, 5.25 is a frickin' cow, especially with Tressel's move towards quicker, more athletic OL.

Wow - For being a mod on the board, you are pretty tough!

What's does my being a mod have to do with saying that a 16- or 17-year year old athlete only being able to run a 5.25 40 (and that's hand-timed) being a cow? Hell, I'm 47 years old and I'll bet my house that I can beat that 40 time. If Rocco boy wants an OSU offer, he'd better get that time down considerably.
