As evidenced in the State of Ohio track championships this weekend he is an outstanding athlete

If he qualifies academically he could be a darkhorse offer candidate

Well Davis is awfully humble. I think I like this kid. I know Duane speaks highly of him. With Harrison talking about not camping here this summer I wonder if our interest in Davis possibly picks up? We may need to keep an eye on him.

What's the deal with Harrison possibly not camping this summer at OSU?

I guess that Brandon hasn't learned from Chauncey Incarnato's experience. Demanding attention and pouting about lack of "love" and "respect" is not a very good way to endear oneself with Tressel & Co. Go to camp, prove your case, earn your offer, and then do want you want with it.

Bringing this thread back to Davis....

It is obvious that Kendall is one heck of an athlete. Duane Long feels that he is one of the best high school DB's in Ohio, and one of this state's top overall prospects. However, Duane also states that Kendall needs to work on his grades a bit.

That's too bad about Harrison, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. With our depth at DB, and who else we're in on this year, losing out on a 5-8.5 corner is not a big deal. I have a feeling he's still looking to go somewhere with Ringer anyways, and I don't think OSU will offer Javon at this time. I'd expect somebody to Iowa or ND to get both players if we don't offer.

Sorry to jack this thread off topic. That's all I'll say about Harrison.

He says he would love to be a Buckeye but like the Hight case, Davis needs to improve his grades. He says it won't be a problem but guru's like Duane disagree.

Duane has kinda backed off his statement about Davis. Although he clearly has some work to do it wouldn't be shocking if he qualified and he's doing the things he needs to do. Sounds promising.

Nice find, Nutty! Let's hope that Kendall gets his academic house in order, as he certainly has the physical skills.
