'05 PA DL Callahan Bright (FSU signee, transfer to Shaw University)

this may be an interesting situation... Bright was generally the #1 or #2 rated recruit (top 5 for sure) in his senior year of HS.. so it would be intriguing to see if he could be the first modern era player to never play college ball that goes to the NFL...

what are the options for this kid?
CC?
or pro ball - Canada and/or Europe?

Michael Lewis-the kick returner for the Saints never even played JUCO ball. There are a couple of DL in the NFL who only went to JUCO, I believe.

Wasn't there a WR last year that went to the NFL from JUCO? I think he was drafted in the 7th round by Tampa Bay and stuck on their practice squad this year.
I think he can stay at Hargrave another year or go JUCO...

this kid has been around some very mean environments... pretty sure he's the one that went to a school near Philly that is solely for the hardest core of the hardest core... he needs to find a patron saint to keep him on the straight and narrow...

top 2 players in FSU's recruiting class aren't going to be there next year.....hardrick and mincey still have work to do to get in from Hargrave after not qualifying academically (both 4 star players)....#2 class last year isn't looking like it too much anymore.......does anyone have any complaints regarding the way tressel recruits now?

There are seven players from FSUs class last year that have either not yet qualfied or are no longer with the team - all either 4 or 5 star recruits.

Didn't the Browns have a RB a couple of years ago who never attended college?

--possibly Ben Gay? He was very highly recruited out of high school--I think the #1 rated RB by some recruiting gurus. I believe Ben Gay signed his LOI to attend Texas, but a string of problems forced him to go to Garden City CC. He was with the Browns only in 2001 when Butch Davis was hired. Butch remembered him from trying to recruit him when Butch was at Miami Fl.
