* opportunity to play .. I always wonder about that statement

Could it be a reflection of his confidence? If he absolutely feels he's the stud of studs at DB, he shouldn't care who's there - he should believe he will win the job. If you're afraid of top shelf competition, tOSU is NOT the place to be...

that being said, I can't even imagine what any passing offense would be thinking if they were going up against the likes of Ginn, KING, O'Neal, Youboty, Underwoods, Whitner, Sally, Lane, Oatis, etc... We could call it "HHH" - "Heisman-Hopeful-Hell"... just like it's been for numerous QBs the last couple years...

Remember how many heisman hopefuls we knocked out of the race in 2002, not to mention Larry Johnson. And our talent is going to be much better in the near future! I think we can pretty much call the whole defense HHH.

Mastiff!!!!

Never surrender the ship!!!! Last year at this time Rory Nicol and Lyons were "long shots" for the Buckeyes. We still have a great shot at Mathis and are mentioned by alot of top players in PA.
I hear ya Brutus2002, but last year's bounty in PA was unprecedented. I would love another successful year in PA. Even just a couple of guys a year go a long way towards making future recruits comfortable joining the Buckeye elite.

Ohio has consistently fed talent to Division 1-A schools in Michigan and PA. This helps make it all alright.
