Interest continues to increase for the Greenwood pair of athlete Zearrick Matthews (5-11, 175) and linebacker Alonzo Higgins (6-3, 230). According to coach Shell Dula, Michigan, Ohio State and Nebraska have joined USC, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia and North Carolina in showing interest in his two standouts. Matthews rushed for 1,192 yards and passed for 1,449 yards last season, while Huggins had 138 tackles.

I have heard great things about Matthews but Higgins is new to me. Zearrick is a definite threat whenever he has the ball. The head coach I have worked under for the past four years just took the head position at a school in Greenwood's region. I should have plenty of news come fall. Good post.
