Rivals Top 100

Biography:
Scouting Report: Barney is a big OL prospect that moves well, has long arms and nice frame. He is pretty quick off the ball and is equally talented at both run and pass blocking. Barney needs to work on intensity from down to down but overall is a very good OL prospect and one of the best in the state of Florida.

We asked him to step in and play a big role as a sophomore. And he came in and made huge contributions right away. If there is a better lineman in the nation, then I’ve not seen him yet. He’s the best of the best in the entire country." -Northwestern coach Roland Smith
"He is very athletic. Anytime you have a guy as big and athletic as him and as smart as he is, he makes your job much easier. He knows the offense inside out. He grades out real well and not only does he know his assignment, he knows the assignment of the lineman next to him." -Northwestern coach Roland Smith

HH: Any thoughts about Mo Wells?

I'm sure you're well aware that MW is in C-Bus for his cousin's graduation and to take an unofficial.

Will you be checking in with him to see how everything went and possibly report your findings?

Dimitri: No, not at this point. IMO he is not as good as these reviews are indicating. He has had a lot of bad games against good schools.

Houston: We have not been tracking him. Got us on that one!

Camp update: Morley is confirmed

Here's a new one for you, HH -

WR Kimbrick Baker

Larry Blustein of FloridaKids states that Baker is a major sleeper who was not on the radar screen in 2003, but will probably be one of the Top 100 kids in Florida this year. Blustein noted his "hands", "concentration", and "ability to run pass patterns".
