If Maurice Wells commits I cant see Ohio State offering this kid. Wells is in the same build as him, and I cant see tOSU taking two of these types of backs in the same year. He does sound like a good one though, and I wouldnt complain if he got an offer.

Considering some of the backs Minnesota has been picking up the last few years, that they've offered him says something in my book.

Minny's key is the O-line. I wish we could snag their OL coach. They constantly develop effective OL's.

According to Tolbert's Dad Cedric's season has been going great. He has a TD rushing, receiving and has thrown one. Ohio State is one of the many schools that have been in touch Cedric.

tOSU is still a favorite and they have been in touch (Coach Heacock called). But he is getting more interest from the MAC or the lower tier Big Ten.

    StoRMinBrutus Great 2 B A Buckeyes !!!

This kid has good size and great speed and I have heard he has pretty damn good hands. Also I like that he has a great work ethic too. Add the fact he has good grades and he could be a GREAT addition to the Buckeyes. Plus he really likes Ohio State; can't beat that!!!
Although I like him no matter how much he weight is; if he was able to put on some weight and still keep his speed ... OH MY !!

Not often that you seen Central State as the token hometown team.

bearonu 60% of the time, it works every time.

Central State is in the process of trying to rekindle their football program, but I don't believe their has been anything set in stone as to when they might begin play again. And when they do start back up, it will likely be as an NAIA school, not NCAA. Very interseting, in a good way, to see them on the list.

Minnesota offering should tell you something. If they know one thing there, it is how to recruit good running backs.

Cedric is a good kid and I will be rooting for him in college. Here's hoping that Dantonio can pull some magic & keep Mr. Tolbert in Ohio...

Unfortunately there are few things that can be said about CSU "in a good way".

  15. I believe he is going to jump on the chance to play at minny in the big ten against o-state, just like all these other ohio kids do.
