i'm really surprised osu hasnt shown a stronger interest. he has some interest in osu, he has ohio ties, and a teammate on board already.

For some reason osu is more interested in other prospects, which imo, osu chances are not as high.

The coaches probably realize that Reuland is most likely going to USC, and are not going to waste that much effort recruiting him. Especially with pretty good TE talent in Ohio. Jeff Cumberlan and Josh Chichester are supposedly faster, and are a lot bigger than Reuland. It makes sense to go after the Ohio guys first, then see if Reuland is interested in visiting Columbus.

Are you on crack? Chichester a TE? A lot bigger than Reuland? Chichester is a bean pole at 6'8", 205. Many think he's too thin right now for a college WR, let alone TE.

From the UCLA site...Konrad is up to over 20 offers with the most recent ones coming from UNLV, Oklahoma and OHIO STATE. He is wide open at this point and plans to take his time with the process. Some of the schools he plans to visit are Nebraska, Ohio State, Miami (FL) and Notre Dame.

Interview with his dad:

Coaches from Notre Dame, ASU, and Washington visited Reuland's school recently. In June, they plan to visit some of the northern Pac10 schools like Cal and Washington. In August, they plans to visit OOS schools like tOSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Miami. He got a 1610 on the new SAT.

Still claims to have no definitive favorites.

Thank god we finally offered this guy... I kind of like our chances with this guy having ties to Ohio/ Ohio State. It seemed like he was just waiting for an offer from us. Despite what he says, I beleive we hold the slight edge over al of the other schools, just because of his ohio ties.
